The quality, 40 mm conical burrs deliver phenomenal consistency across the entire grind range (even the fine and coarse ends) with very little occurrence of fines (the powdery grind residue that can lead to bitterness). It produces fast, at an output of 1.5 to 2.4 grams per second, with a low grinding speed for low heat, a steady bean feed, and quiet operation. The Virtuoso+ still offers a range of 40 settings (from 200 to 1200 microns) that will accommodate any method, including pressure-brewed espresso, auto-drip, manual methods, French press and Press Pot. Plus the superior design allows burrs to lift easily from the grinder, without tools, for simple cleaning.
