Fine Asian knives are forged with harder steel and require less honing than Western knives, but the frequency of your Shun knife usage will determine if your knives will need daily or weekly honing. This Combination Honing Steel features an angle guide built into the handle so you can hone your knives at the correct 16 Shun angle. The premium walnut PakkaWood beautifully matches the rest of the Shun Premier series of knives.
