The Moccamaster KM5 Burr Grinder is fitted with 50 mm flat steel burrs, a long-wearing design that produces very consistent grind size at a very good rate- up to 60 grams in under 30 seconds. The KM5 is driven by a powerful, direct-drive motor that grinds coffee quickly and efficiently, and its static-reducing dispensing spout creates a mess-free grinding experience. The stepless knob allows for the finest adjustment of the 50 mm flat steel burrs, providing a precise, uniform grind at the exact size you need for a range of brewing methods. The burr calibration isdialed in for methods from medium-fine manual drip to coarse for cold brew, with a special setting for Moccamaster/ auto-drip brewers at thecenter of the range. The KM5 is not recommended for espresso grind. The KM5 is one of the few grinders certified by the European Coffee Brewing Centre, the quality and uniformity of the grind is guaranteed for perfect extraction.
