The Wusthof Classic 4.5″ Asian Utility Knife is a small but versatile blade with a gyuto-inspired profile. It has a deeper heel than than the typical utility and a decidedly “clipped” point, but remains extremely nimble and maneuverable in use. The improved knuckle clearance makes it more capable of smaller chopping tasks and better support at the very fine tip make this knife hard to beat for fine dices of shallots, garlic onions and other delicate work. Asian-inspired profiles in the Classic line are forged with an abbreviated bolster, which allows the entire blade length to be used and improves ease of sharpening. The new Classic Series features the updated Trident logo inlayed on every handle and etched on every blade. Hand-washing recommended.
